***Review - Element Lounge - Elm Street***

The Element Lounge is somewhere that I frequent. It is a great place with a fun atmosphere. It is located right next to Caesarios on Elm Street. When you enter the club you will notice a pool table to your left. Then there is a stage, plenty of seating, and a full bar with two televisions that run sports and other popular television shows. There is also a back room that has couches and a dance floor.

The bartenders are always cheerful and polite. The bar is well-stocked with a variety of vodkas, tequilas, rums, and assorted other liquors. They also have a decent variety of beer. Seasonal flavors are on tap such as Sam Adams Oktoberfest. They also have a small menu of pub fare such as sandwiches, wings, and appetizers. Their prices on drinks are great.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays DJ Sharon is there as your karaoke host. She does a fantastic job and makes sure that everything runs in order so that no one misses a turn. The sound system is great for being in such a small space. The crowd is always very responsive whether you are a great singer or maybe not the best singer in the world. She has a very wide range of songs from old to new.

On Wednesday Element hosts "bag night". When you buy a drink you get raffle tickets. Throughout the night tickets are drawn and if you win you get to choose a bag that is hanging from the ceiling and you win whatever is in it. Usually there is a t-shirt or some other article of clothing, fun little gifts, and promo items from different liquor vendors. And to top it off there is a coupon in the bag for $1.50 off your next cocktail.

On warm nights you can also sit out on the patio and watch the people pass by on Elm. Smoking is allowed out on the sidewalk patio.

Element may not be for everyone as it is a popular gay-centric hangout, but everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for something fun to do, head over to the Element!
