Two different robberies took place this weekend and police are looking to the public for any help possible.
The first robbery occurred around 2:40am at the Cumberland Farms on the corner of Union and Valley. A man walked into the store and demanded cash and cigarettes. The clerk complied and gave him the items. She said that he was extremely covered up so it was hard to give any description. He is believed to be Caucasian. It was also noted that he pulled the handgun out of the left side of his waistband with his left hand. No one was injured during the robbery.
The second robbery occurred at the CVS on Mammoth Road early in the morning on Sunday. A man walked in and stated that he had a handgun however no weapon was shown. He made off with some oxy. He was wearing a Rocky the Squirrel hat, a black jacket that said Sig Sauer on the back, and had a white sling over his left arm and a hospital mask over his face. No one was injured during this robbery either.
