***Daily Breakdown 03/20/2014***

Well then...last night sucked! I am hoping that is the last that we will see of winter since it is now officially spring!!

WEATHER: It is a little chilly out there but that will improve as the day goes on. Today we will see a high of a beautiful 50 degrees with drizzles throughout the day. This weekend will be nice and warm as well!

TRAFFIC: Traffic is looking really good right now, no major delays on any of the roads.

HEADLINES: I am doing a separate post with some of our bigger stories because a lot happened yesterday!

Osram Sylvania will be closing its doors in September. The manufacturing company located on South Willow will be shutting down due to a declining demand for traditional lighting products. There will be 139 people losing their jobs.

An ordinance that has been under scrutiny for two years may finally be approved in Manchester. This ordinance will allow people that own parcels of land that are a half-acre or more to own up to six hens. There will be a fee of $35 to build a chicken coop on the property. This would be a great move for local farmers.

SPORTS: The Boston Red Sox fell 4-2 to the Pirates last night. They face the Yankees at 7:05pm tonight. Hopefully the swarms of bees will stay away this time!

CLOSURES: No closures for maintenance are scheduled at this time.
