***Update on Front Street Fire***

The man that was rescued by firefighters during a fire at 298 Front Street has been identified as Thomas Belliveau, 48. Belliveau was found to be unresponsive and not breathing during the fire that was caused by an oil pan that had been left unattended in the first floor kitchen. The fire spread up through the walls of the second floor all the way up through to the ceiling of the third floor.

There are 12 people that are now homeless, including four children, as the building is now uninhabitable. They are estimating damage of $140,000.

Sadly there was a chihuahua named Nala that passed away in the fire. A family cat was found, burned, but still alive.

Belliveau is currently still at Brigham and Women's in Boston. He was transported to the CMC after being revived by four firefighters and then taken by helicopter to Brigham's with serious injuries due to smoke inhalation. At this time he is doing well and is expected to recover.
