***Daily Breakdown 03/14/2014***

Good morning everyone! Happy Friday!! I am still so overwhelmed by all of the businesses that donated to the giveaway...up to $450 in prizes...so crazy! I will release the prize list the morning of the 18th before the contest closes.

WEATHER: Today we will see a "high" of 39 degrees. There will be some rain showers later tonight which means it will be icy out later so be careful. But tomorrow...man it is going to feel like spring! There will be snow/rain showers early in the morning but then it is going to be partly cloudy and 48! Woo hoo!

TRAFFIC: Traffic this morning is much better than yesterday with the exception of Route 3 South which is almost at a standstill from the tolls and all the way down past exit 12 as there is an accident that is being cleared up. Other than that all roadways are moving along nicely.

HEADLINES: A Manchester woman woke up last night to a burglar in her home. She screamed and scared him off and then hid in her bedroom with her five children until she was sure he was gone. He made off with a 32 inch television, a purse, and a few other items. There was a pair of pants left in the driveway that police believe he was using to help him carry the TV. He got in through an unlocked window, there was a footprint on a chair that was under the window.

Yet again the House has killed the casino in NH proposal. A casino could bring in tons of jobs and over $100 million in revenue yet they keep killing every proposal sent their way. The vote was 173-144 and Governor Hassan backed the nay votes. They are concerned that a casino is not the right fit for NH. Personally I would love to not have to drive all the way down to Connecticut...but that's just my opinion!

Richard Burhoe, 51, of 165 Conant Street was named as the pedestrian that was killed in Wednesday night's accident on South Main Street. They are still investigating the cause of the crash.

31 year old Shawn Lusk has been charged with eight counts of simple assault, one criminal trespass, one disorderly conduct, two criminal threatening charges after an incident at the Market Basket in Manchester on February 27th. This is the incident that we heard on the scanner where the police ended up finding him on the West Side after he was spotted by firefighters at a call in the area of Granite Street.

SPORTS: The Bruins won their seventh straight game last night when they beat the Coyotes 2-1. Tuukaa Rask had 21 save. Go B's! The Red Sox beat the Twins 4-3. Tonight the Monarchs will face the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at 7pm.

Watch for road closures around the Verizon after the game is done tonight, around 9:30pm.

Also tonight at 5:30pm, Justin Spencer from Recycled Percussion will be riding down Elm Street doing a drum solo on the back of a flatbed. He is speaking at the Monarchs game tonight and various schools in the area today to spread the word about his Legacy X campaign which is a campaign to stop bullying. Come down and support him as he rides down the chilly street! I will be doing a feature write up on Legacy X soon.

Let's have a great day today!
