***Daily Breakdown 03/13/2014***

Good morning everyone. I have a feeling it's going to be a long day...

WEATHER: Today we will see a high of 20. Wonderful. Snow will be continuing through the day until around 6pm or 7pm but will be light snow and a wintery mix falling from the sky. This means road conditions are going to suck so if you don't have to go out, don't. Schools are cancelled for Manchester.

TRAFFIC: What a mess. 101 East and West, slow. 93 North and South all the way from Mass up through Concord, slow. There is an accident reported by exit 5 on 93 South. 293 is not looking too bad but take caution anyway. Route 3 South looks okay for the moment but Route 3 North is slow going.

HEADLINES: A pedestrian was killed in Manchester last night after being hit by a silver SUV. The man was in his 50s and his identity was not yet released. I will update as more information comes in.

Parents were outraged when their 3rd grade children were shown a video that deals with molestation without prior consent from the parents. They hadn't been notified that this video was to be shown. Highland Goffe's Falls Elementary showed their 3rd grade class a video about molestation and some of the kids were shocked by what they had seen. Parents went to a board meeting Monday night to express their concern.

Mayor Ted Gatsas says that since Hooksett said no to Pinkerton, it seems that they are just fine with the Manchester school system. (IMO doesn't mean they are fine with it, just means that Pinkerton is a LONG drive from Hooksett).

A baton twirler in Manchester on Country Club Drive was found to be in violation of a city burning ordinance Monday night after he set his baton on fire and was twirling it in the parking lot on Country Club. Fire trucks were called to the scene.

SPORTS: The Bruins beat the Canadiens 4-1

No road closures are scheduled for today

Think spring people....think spring....
