A man in Boston has other men on the lookout. Over the last few weeks there have been a series of break-ins. There has been nothing stolen, nothing broken, and no one has been hurt. There are a few who are quite disturbed about the whole incident however.
A couple of weeks ago a Boston College student said that someone had broken into his residence. He said that there was a man in his bedroom with a ski mask on. He didn't have any weapons, he was not standing menacingly over him. When the student woke to find the man in his room he said they made eye contact and then the intruder took off.
So what was so unusual about this break-in? What did the man do if he didn't take anything? Why did the student wake out of a dead sleep? Say hello to the Boston Tickler. He sneaks into homes, doesn't take anything, goes to the bedroom where there are men sleeping, and tickles their feet. Yes....you read that right.
Yesterday morning there were reports of three different break-ins. Two homes on Foster Rd were hit and another on Kirkwood Road was hit in the very early hours on Tuesday morning. A man from one of the homes, David Master, said that he woke up to his roommate screaming. He ran in to check on him and his roommate said that he had felt something tickling his feet. He thought it was a cat at first but woke to find a man crouching at the end of his bed.
The police are looking for any clues that may lead them to who is conducting these strange break-ins but other than entering someone's home illegally...what can they charge him with? Tickling is not illegal unless you consider it assault and battery because he touched them without their consent, but at the same time, no one is being hurt. They are all just a little creeped out.
