***Daily Breakdown 03/26/2014***

Good morning everyone!

WEATHER: Wow...just look at all that snow...however will we deal with it? Haha. Today we will see a high of 33 degrees. There is a wind advisory in effect until 8pm tonight. Wind will be howling from 25 to 35mph with gusts up to 50mph. Watch for down tree limbs and power lines.

TRAFFIC: Traffic right now is moving along. 293 North is slow from Exit 6 up to the tolls. 93 North is also slow from Hooksett up to the tolls and from the 293 split up to the 101 split. 101 East is slow from Manchester all the way to Raymond.

HEADLINES: Part of the new budget plan for the Manchester School District is to create a central preschool for the city. Debra Livingston (Superintendent) is looking to have the Jewett Street School converted into just a preschool and have the other grades moved to Southside Middle School which would then be grades K through 8. They are letting parents in the community express their opinion on the matter before going forward with anything. If it does pass it will not go into effect until the fall of 2015 at the earliest.

The Saturday night fire at the Valley Street Jail was caused by overheated dryers. There was damage to the roof, the vents, the dryers, and water damage to the classroom on the second floor. The cells were not damaged.

The "Give America a Raise" caravan rolled through Nashua yesterday. Protesters stood outside of the city library with signs that were for raising the minimum wage, which has been proposed to be raised from $7.25 per hour to $10.10 per hour.

Vice President Joe Biden visited Nashua yesterday as well to talk about jobs and making the workforce better. They visited the Nashua Works center.

SPORTS: The Red Sox defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 4-2 yesterday.
