Good morning everyone!! Hope you are all staying warm!

WEATHER: Bundle up because yet again because it is COLD. It will be a high of 27 degrees today and (here comes your favorite part) we are expecting snow showers tonight. Fortunately we will not have significant accumulation but it may be enough to make the roads slick so please use caution.

TRAFFIC: Traffic is looking good so far this morning with the exception of a couple of trouble spots. The intersection where Boynton Street, 101, and 114 meet is jammed up with traffic. No accident reported on the map so it is unclear as to why this section is a mess. Route 3 North and South before the tolls if you are heading South is a little backed up too but not too horrible at this time.

HEADLINES: Manchester police are saying that heroin is become an epidemic in the city. (Really...ya think???).

A 53 year old man in Canterbury was found dead on a hill and police are still investigating how he died.

There is a growing list of items that will not be allowed at the Boston Marthon this year such as strollers and bags in the wake of last years bombing incident where three people were killed and many more were injured.

SPORTS: In their first game back since the Olympics the Bruins lost a considerable lead and ended up losing in OT. The Celtics however broke their losing streak last night.

There are no road closures due to construction at this time.

The Highway Department has been working on filling the potholes in the city. The giant one in front of the Shell on Eddy Road has been filled, and all of the ones on the Bridge Street bridge have been filled as well. Continue to watch out for large potholes and sinkholes.

Fun Fact: Capt. John Mason, who participated in the founding of Portsmouth in 1630, gave New Hampshire its name (after his home county in Hampshire, England).

Let's have a great day today!!
